Please join Crystal and I in congratulating Aaron on earning his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation. This designation is well-suited to accompany his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). The ChFC® program covers a must-have list of requirements for financial advisors, from knowledge on tax and retirement planning to special needs advising, wealth management, risk management, estate planning, insurance, and more.
To receive the ChFC ® designation, you must successfully complete the eight required courses covering all facets of financial planning. In addition, they must agree to comply with the American College Code of Ethics and Procedures, as well as pass the final examination.
Both CFP® and ChFC® charterholders are held to a fiduciary standard, which means they are bound by law to consider the best financial interests of their clients when pursuing any investment decision.
