Sunshine, Silly Songs, and Surprises in September!

Wow, what a year it’s been! I’ve got a bundle of updates to share with you. Get ready for some serious smiles!
Mermaid Mission: Girls, Giggles, and Sunshine!
I went on a girls-only adventure to Indian Rocks Beach, Florida with my mom and grandma (or Memaw, as we call her) in April! I’m a total PRO at flying- I showed Memaw how to zoom through security like a superhero and even told her the best snack to eat on the airplane (P.S. It’s definitely Oreos).
We did a million fun things! First, I dashed to the beach in my sparkly mermaid swimsuit and tried to sneak up on some squawking seagulls. Then, we went to feed REAL alligators! I tossed them crunchy snacks and told each one, “No biting my fingers!” The most awesome part was hopping on a boat to see dolphins jumping right out of the ocean. There were mommy dolphins alongside their baby dolphins putting on a water circus just for us! It was the silliest, sunshiniest, girliest trip ever!
All Dressed Up and Ready for Kindergarten
I graduated Pre-K and wore my fanciest, twirliest dress ever! My whole class sang “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and I sang super loud because it’s my favorite song. My teacher gave me a shiny certificate, and I told everyone I want to be a doctor when I grow up so I can help people and maybe give out stickers! I feel like a big kid who’s ready for brand new adventures in kindergarten.
Mini Hockey Sidekick Coming This Fall!
I have the hugest, happiest, most amazing news ever- I have a baby brother coming in September! I’m going to be a big sister, and I’m already practicing every day to make sure I’m able to help my parents out. I feed my baby dolls bottles, tuck them in with soft blankets, and rock them to sleep while singing lullabies (sometimes I even make up new songs just for them!). I’m thinking of lots of fun ways to play together- like teaching him how to play mini hockey sticks and bringing him on pretend adventures with my stuffed animals. September feels so far away, but I’m getting ready every single day to be the best, kindest, most fun big sister ever!
