Megen J. Simpson

Prior to joining Alpha Planning in 2025, Megen worked for nearly a decade at MetroHealth, overseeing a department that helped patients emotionally heal after traumatic injury. She saw firsthand how unexpected life events created ripple effects for loved ones, not just emotionally but also financially. She realized how impactful and beneficial comprehensive financial planning can be, creating one less worry during tough times.

Megen is proud to join Alpha Planning, where the team helps clients prepare for the expected and unexpected, creating peace and assurance through life’s winding road. She finds it extremely rewarding to be part of a firm that values humanity, humility and transparency.

Before joining Alpha Planning, Megen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from The University of Mount Union and a Master of Education in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Akron. Outside the office, Megen enjoys a good cup of coffee while curling up with a non-fiction book, birding and exploring new places with her husband, Aaron, and their daughter, Aubrie.
