Pretty in Pink on the Golf Course: My First Tee Time with Dad
One afternoon, I put on my favorite pink athletic skirt and headed to the golf course with Dad. I was a little nervous holding a real golf club, but Dad showed me how to stand just right and swing with all my might. Sometimes the ball went flying through the sky (yay!), and sometimes it just made a few hops through the grass, but Dad always cheered me on. We laughed a lot, sipped on lemonade, and I even got to drive the golf cart fast! I can’t wait to play again and maybe even get a hole-in-one someday!
Fireworks & Giggles at Niagara Falls
Family road trip time! We explored Canadian Clifton Hill, where I felt like I was inside a neon wonderland- so many bright lights, fun music, and candy shops galore. We hopped onto the Voyage to the Falls boat, and I squealed with excitement as the mist made my hair go wild and we got SO close to the thundering falls (good thing I had my cute rain poncho!). Next, we rode the big Ferris wheel, and I waved at the tiny people below and saw the sparkling water from way up high. It felt like I was on top of the world! As if that wasn’t magical enough, we ended our night watching fireworks burst into glittery colors right over the falls. My favorite ones were the bright pink ones- so fun!
Kindergarten Queen: My First Day!
I became a kindergartener! I picked out a sparkly Elsa backpack, wore a flowery dress, and rode the big yellow school bus for the very first time. I even got a window seat to wave goodbye to Mom and Dad as we pulled away. When I got to class, my teacher read us a sweet story called “The Kissing Hand.” It made me smile knowing Chester the raccoon felt brave just like me! I met so many new friends that day- we played together, drew colorful pictures, and laughed during lunch time. By the end of the day, I felt like I’d been there forever. Kindergarten is full of new friends, stories, and I can’t wait for more!
With so many adventures behind me, I’m already having the best year ever. But the most exciting adventure of all is still on the way: I’m going to be a big sister in two weeks! I can’t wait to meet my baby brother, hold his tiny hand, and show him all my favorite stories. My heart feels extra big and extra happy. Stay tuned because this big sister is just getting started!
